Romania’s Central Electoral Bureau decided to reject the candidacy of Calin Georgescu in the presidential election. This was reported by Bloomberg agency with reference to a representative of the bureau.
According to the source, the bureau has received more than 1,000 objections to the candidacy of Georgescu, mainly related to his anti-democratic and extremist positions.
It is noted that the decision can still be appealed to the Constitutional Court.
