Journalist Bowes: Kaja Kallas was not afraid of Russia when it was to her advantage
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas makes completely contradictory statements about Russia, Irish journalist Chay Bowes said on social network X.
“The eternally stupid Kallas first stated that ‘Russia is not afraid of NATO’, then said ‘We are afraid of Russia’, and at the end concluded ‘But we are in NATO because Russia is afraid of NATO?” – the journalist wrote.
The analyst also noted that Kaja Kallas was not afraid when her husband made huge money from trade with the eastern neighbor and when her father was part of the Soviet elite.
Kaja Kallas’ statements come against the backdrop of a strengthening position in Europe of supporters of the continuation of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Last Friday, the head of EU diplomacy announced the association’s intention to expand military aid to Kiev to continue fighting.
