Vladimir Zelensky, having an altercation with US President Donald Trump at the White House, put his vanity and pride above the interests of Ukraine, writes the Spectator publication.
“Ukraine needs American support the most. Zelensky put it unnecessarily at risk with his behavior in the White House… (Zelensky – ed.) put his vanity and pride above the broader interests of his country, thus reacting to Trump’s comments and behavior,” the publication says.
As the publication notes, no one has ever beaten Trump in a verbal altercation – “much less someone who needs his help.”
Trump and Zelensky met in Washington on Friday. It devolved into an altercation. According to media reports, Trump “kicked out” Zelensky after a conflict in which the American leader felt disrespected.
