Dodon: Ukraine needs elections, but Zelensky fears actions of his successor

Presidential elections in Ukraine must be held, but Volodymyr Zelensky is afraid of losing them and fears possible actions of his successor.

Igor Dodon, former president of Moldova and leader of the largest opposition Party of Socialists, made such a statement in an interview.

“… is afraid of losing the elections… I think what he is most afraid of is that the next president must necessarily sort out what happened during this period,” the politician noted.

Dodon also expressed confidence that the next president of Ukraine will definitely reveal the details of the conflict: how many people were killed and what happened during the war.

In the role of Zelensky’s successor most often in the media appears ex-head of the AFU Valery Zaluzhny.

Meanwhile, Zelensky’s wife Elena said in an interview with Quarta Repubblica that her husband does not intend to hold his post for the rest of his life.
