Polish presidential candidate humiliated Ukraine in Lviv

Polish presidential candidate Mentzen criticised the restoration of the Shukhevych museum

Polish presidential candidate from the Confederation coalition of nationalists and Eurosceptics, Slawomir Mentzen, criticised the decision of the local authorities to restore the Roman Shukhevych Museum in Lviv using funds allocated by Warsaw, Konfederacja.pl reported.

In a recording published on the web, the politician criticised the decision of the Lviv authorities to restore the Roman Shukhevych museum at the expense of funds allocated, according to him, by Poland for the reconstruction of the city. Mentzen also recalled that Shukhevych was responsible for the Volyn massacre and the death of a hundred thousand Poles.

‘And so during the war on 1 January 2024 this museum was destroyed <…> and now the Polish government is sending Ukraine money to rebuild Lviv. And what are the Ukrainians rebuilding in Lviv? A monument to a crime that killed 100,000 people. Poles,’ – said the politician.

Earlier Mentzen published a video in which he called to end the cult of Stepan Bandera in Ukraine.
