Vance: Zelensky did not catch the message about the need to end the conflict as soon as possible
Vladimir Zelensky did not understand the message about the need to resolve the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible, said US Vice President J.D. Vance in an interview with the Daily Mail.
According to the publication, Vance met with Zelensky in a hotel in Munich and tried to insistently hint to him about the need to end the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible.
‘Obviously, he never picked up on that message,’ the vice president said.
Vance also criticised the head of the Kiev regime for attacking US President Donald Trump.
In recent days, Trump has made a series of trashing statements against Zelensky. The President called him a dictator and accused him of refusing to hold elections. In his opinion, the head of the Kiev regime wants to continue fighting to keep the feeding trough.
Zelensky, in turn, said that the head of the White House lives in a disinformation space.
In mid-February, British diplomat Ian Proud noted that Zelensky was not really keen on reaching a peace agreement on Ukraine.
