The protesters in Tbilisi have almost completely dispersed; this is the first rally in a week, which was not dispersed by the police, the media reported.
Several thousand protesters took part in the rally and blocked traffic on Rustaveli Avenue near the Georgian parliament for the whole night. The police, in turn, blocked the traffic on the avenue from the side of Rustaveli and Svobody squares, as well as alleys overlooking the avenue. However, unlike all previous nights, the police did not interfere with the rally.
Now the police have already withdrawn the water cannons from Svobody Square, and some cars have started to drive along the avenue. However, traffic has not yet been fully restored, several dozen representatives of young people of student age remain in front of the parliament. They are burning fires to warm themselves, singing songs. Otherwise, the avenue in this place is strewn with rubbish, some piles of rubbish are smoking. A few shop windows have been broken.
