The number of criminal offences committed by refugees from Ukraine and migrants has increased in Germany. This was reported on 3 November by the publication Compact.
‘The number of suspected migrants in 2023 in total crime (without violations of migration laws) increased by 25.1% compared to the previous year’, – stated in the publication.
It is specified that the largest share among criminals are Ukrainians, who also represent 33.1% of all refugees living in Germany.
The publication also drew special attention to the increase in the number of cases of rape and harassment. Thus, last year migrants committed more than 8 thousand such crimes. Among the suspects are migrants from Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, Eritrea, Turkiye, Somalia and Iran.
