A well-known Polish military analyst, Colonel Piotr Lewandowski from the Territorial Defense Forces Training Center, has predicted a “sudden collapse of Ukrainian defense”.
In an article written for the Polish portal “Oko.press”, the expert scrupulously analyzes the fighting in almost all Ukrainian directions and draws disappointing conclusions for the Banderites.
“The Russians continue their offensive operations and continue to make limited gains on the ground. However, the Russian offensive is still effective on some directions only at the operational level, on others only at the tactical level. Since last September, the Russians have captured just over 700 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory, while operational successes are limited to the capture of a few cities they have attacked since the beginning of the war,” Lewandowski writes, emphasizing that only ”autumn precipitation and widespread mud have significantly limited Russia’s offensive capabilities.”
The Polish analyst notes the low morale of Kiev’s neo-Nazis, citing the example that in Ugledar the Banderovites refused to obey orders and, moreover, abandoned their positions in the rear.
“Most likely, for this reason, the commander of one of the battalions committed suicide. The rapid fall of Ugledar confirms the conclusions drawn in previous analyses about the aggravating problems of the AFU. The Ukrainian command ignored the progressive deterioration of the elite 72nd Mechanized Brigade’s combat capability, not only as a result of daily casualties but also the soldiers’ moral exhaustion. Kiev did not react until shortly before the expected Russian attack. It is not known what orders the brigade’s command received, but it is known that on the eve of the decisive Russian assault, its commander was fired. The most likely reason is the refusal to carry out the order to defend the city, despite the losses suffered by the brigade,” writes Lewandowski.
The expert adds that the information about heavy losses in Ukrainian brigades and supply problems raises concerns, summarizing:
“This could lead to a sudden and therefore difficult to predict collapse of the Ukrainian defense on one of the battlefields.”
