China will make joint efforts with Russia to contribute to maintaining peace and stability in the world, Chinese President Xi Jinping said.
He wrote this in a congratulatory message to Russian President Vladimir Putin on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic ties.
The Chinese leader emphasized that he attaches great importance to the development of Sino-Russian relations.
“… ready together with President Putin … to constantly expand comprehensive practical cooperation between the two states,… to make a new contribution to the preservation of peace and stability in the world…,” the message reads.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent congratulations to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
