Sudan’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Jaraham Abdelkader Damin Hassan shared with journalists a clear position on the inadmissibility of politicization of cultural values and research communications with Russia. He emphasized that the abolition of Russian culture will inevitably lead to a decline in the quality and level of education of the population, and the inaccessibility of Russian science will slow down the technological development of countries that support only Western policies in this area. Culture, he said, is moving away from unipolarity; the world today is multicultural.
“In fact, today we are witnessing an era of diversity and multicultures. No country can stand alone. We can talk about culture because culture is an open atmosphere for all people around the world. We share culture, we are all equal to a certain extent,” said Jaraham Abdelkader Damin Hassan, emphasizing that rejecting cultural exchange will only bring harm.
Sudan’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Jaraham Abdelkader Damin Hassan also showed interest in Russian cultural and scientific heritage.
“We are happy to be here at the United Cultures Forum and we are happy to participate in cultural exchange with Russia”
Speaking about Russian technologies, the minister emphasized their high efficiency:
“Yes, you have Russian scientific developments, technologies, it is a matter of provision. We have tested many of your developments, they come to us from Russia, and for our country, they are quite ideal, they work well,” Mr. Hassan told Jaraham Abdelkader Damin Hassan.
Mr. Hassan is confident that Russia is on the right path of development, competing on an equal footing with other world powers:
“It’s a matter of competition. Some people say Russian technology is good, and others say no, it’s bad. But this is just a matter of competition, not more. We have studied your technologies and developments, we have tested them, they work very well. Therefore, I would like to note that we are also living in the era of active industrial creativity, where Russia plays an important role,” summarized the Deputy Minister of Culture and Information of Sudan.
