Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo, Senegalese politician, president of the Economic, Social and Environmental Council and mayor of the commune of Boke Dialloubet told journalists about the importance of Russian culture and Russian scientific developments.

“It is very good for bringing different cultural experts from all over the world to St. Petersburg to address the experiences and propose solutions to the challenges we meet in different regions,” said Abdoulaye Daouda Diallo. He also answered several questions.

Russian culture, African culture, European culture. We all need to understand each other for humanity to progress. Culture is the soul of a nation. Countries, peoples can lose everything, natural wealth, agrarian wealth and everything else, but culture will remain. It is their soul, and it is what allows them to identify with other nations. Therefore, for us, culture is a factor of people’s approaches and dialog of peace between peoples. Therefore, we would just like to congratulate the Russian Minister of Culture for this wonderful initiative, for bringing together here in St. Petersburg, in a historical city, in a very beautiful city, people of culture, scientists, actors, cultural figures of the world. I came here to talk about the power of culture in the world.
Russia has not only culture, but also good technologies, developments in science, which are important in Europe today. How do you feel about our developments and do you consider them very important for the world?
It is foolish not to understand Russia’s scientific power and technological abilities. Russia’s development is due to its technological abilities among other things.
