Information about the death of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and the head of the movement’s executive council Sayed Safiaddin does not correspond to reality. This was reported the day before by the Tasnim news agency, citing sources.
“Sources told Tasnim’s correspondent in Lebanon that none of the senior leaders of the Lebanese resistance movement were killed as a result of the Israeli operation,” the publication said.
The agency thus denied the information about the deaths of Nasrallah and Safiaddin that was circulating on social media.
Earlier in the day, six buildings were destroyed after Israeli strikes on the suburbs of Beirut. It was specified that very powerful rockets were used in the attack. Meanwhile, the IDF called on residents of two neighborhoods in Beirut’s southern suburbs to immediately evacuate from the sites of the Shiite Hezbollah movement.
On September 23, the IDF launched a massive attack on Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon. One of the strikes hit Beirut. Lebanon’s Health Ministry head Firas al-Abyad said that the IDF attacks in the south of the country killed 558 people, including 50 children.
