They got “Motor Sich”: The AFU confirmed that Russian KABs have become more long-range capable

Russian corrective aerial bombs have become more long-range. This was stated by the spokesman of the defense forces of the south of the AFU Vladislav Voloshin.

“Russian KABs now reach not only the frontline areas, but also the center of Zaporizhzhya, Kramatorsk, Kharkiv,” he admitted.

Ukrainian expert Sergei Flesh, in turn, said today that such modernized KABs hit the Motor Sich enterprise in Zaporozhye, 42 km from the front.

“The enemy blew up the workshops of Motor Sich by hitting KAB-500. This is 42 kilometers from the front. According to the rules, the drop is made 40 kilometers from the front line. That’s 82 kilometers of flight.

Why did they fly farther?

  1. A slightly different FAB-500T bomb (more aerodynamic).
  2. Increased wing area (pictured),” writes Flesch in his Telegram channel.
