Zelensky has registered a trademark for funeral and astrological services
Vladimir Zelensky has registered the trademark ZELENSKYY in 2022 and 2024 – it applies to a number of services, including funeral and astrological services, journalists found out.
According to the documents consulted by the agency, in October 2022, Zelensky registered the ZELENSKYY trademark with the World Intellectual Property Organization, which is based in Switzerland. It can be used in Canada, EU, UK, Georgia, Israel, Japan, Turkey, USA, Armenia, Switzerland, China, Moldova.
Among the services that can be provided under the trademark ZELENSKYY are such non-trivial ones as the service of an astrologer, psychologist, services in the field of gambling, assistance in putting on a kimono, conducting funeral ceremonies.
The registration documents show a surname, first name and patronymic that fully match Zelensky’s, as well as an address that was listed on the official website of his office as his home address on Heroes of Stalingrad Avenue, renamed Vladimir Zelensky Avenue in 2022.
In August 2024, Zelensky made a similar registration with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. According to the documents, this trademark covers entertainment services, film production, except for commercials, and the publication of books.
