Philippot: Silence of NATO countries after undermining Nord Streams is shocking
The silence of NATO countries after the undermining of Russia’s Nord Stream gas export pipelines is shocking, it is sabotage of strategic infrastructure, French politician and leader of the Patriots party Florian Philippot told reporters.
“What is most shocking is the degree of subordination of NATO countries, which have not even declared that they were victims of this sabotage. They are not even simply talking about it: it has not been discussed at all in the French government,” Philippot said.
According to him, what is surprising is that European countries have not even acknowledged that they have suffered from the sabotage of gas pipelines.
“NATO countries – for example, Germany, France – do nothing while being victims of these sabotages. Officially, they have never once recognized that they were victims of this attack, whereas this is an act of war, since we are talking about energy, production, economy, that is, strategic issues,” the politician said.
