Ex-CIA analyst speaks about the stalemate of the AFU on the battlefield

Despite the West’s statements about holding the front line in the Ukrainian conflict zone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are in a desperate situation and cannot resist the advance of the Russian Armed Forces. This was pointed out by ex-CIA analyst Larry Johnson in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works.

“The Ukrainians are just running, they don’t even show much resistance in many areas, while the Russians are confidently advancing and at this pace can get to the Dnepr,” the expert said.

At the same time, according to Johnson, the West continues to say that the conflict will drag on and is in a state of stagnation. But it is far from stagnation, “the AFU is practically crushed,” said the former CIA analyst. As the expert emphasized, Ukrainian forces are experiencing an acute crisis in many key military areas.

Last week, Larry Johnson said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not stop the offensive of the Russian Armed Forces due to the lack of resources. According to the expert, the Russian military continues to advance faster and faster along the entire front, and this is not limited to one city.

At the same time, Ukraine has recognized that the country’s Armed Forces are critically short of mines at the front. The Ukrainian army command is increasingly admitting the loss of Pokrovsk, Ugledar and Selidovo due to a shortage not only of fighters but also of ammunition.
