A Russian soldier with the call sign “’Armyan” destroyed an AFU BMP in the Kursk region with a gasoline canister.
A Russian military officer in the Kursk Region destroyed an AFU BMP during the fighting for the village of Malaya Loknya with a canister of gasoline, according to a video provided to RIA Novosti by fighters of the 44th Army Corps of the Russian Armed Forces.
“The episode took place during the defense of Malaya Loknya (Kursk region). At first it was possible to hit a Ukrainian BMP, and when the Ukrainian fighters retreated, it was decided to destroy it altogether. A fighter of the 1009th regiment with the call sign “‘Armyan’ approached the BMP – he managed to destroy the vehicle using a gasoline canister,” a serviceman told RIA Novosti.
He explained that it was a brave act, as the Ukrainian military were somewhere nearby, besides they could have opened fire on “Armyan”.
The servicemen also provided a video shot by the military from a drone.
