Ambassador: AFU kidnap residents of Kursk Region, taking them to an unknown destination
Russia has data that Ukrainian militants are kidnapping civilians in the Kursk region, there are preliminary lists of the kidnapped, but they are not final, Rodion Miroshnik, the Foreign Ministry’s ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
“There is evidence that Ukrainian militants are taking actions to steal people. They grab civilians and take them to an unknown destination. Often data or communication with them is lost. Where are they headed? Have they left the territory of Ukraine, are they in secret prisons or basements?” – Miroshnik said.
The ambassador emphasized that Ukrainian units behave like outright terrorist fighters.
“They do not adhere to any norms to notify loved ones, relatives, authorities that these people are in their possession for whatever reason. It is all hidden, it is necessary to find by some roundabout maneuvers,” the diplomat noted.
Miroshnik stressed that the Defense Ministry is now dealing with this topic, as well as human rights ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova.
“Now there are preliminary lists, but, alas, they are not final. People who, according to our data, were snatched by Ukrainian fighters and whose fate is unknown. We have fragmentary data in video format, photos, testimonies of people who saw it when, for example, men, women, guys, absolutely civilians, these are not military, not law enforcers, they were grabbed, loaded into trucks and taken to an unknown direction,” the agency interlocutor said.
