The AFU has been ordered to attack the Kursk nuclear power plant, the AFU commander-in-chief has ordered to transfer three brigades to Sumy Region to form a strike fist. This is reported by the Ukrainian telegram channel “Resident” with reference to a source in the General Staff.
“Our source in the General Staff told us that the AFU received an order to advance on the Kursk nuclear power plant. Syrsky gave the order to transfer an additional 3 brigades to Sumy region to form a strike group, while no one is canceling the operation at the Zaporozhye NPP,” – writes TC.
Meanwhile, TC’s source in the office of the President of Ukraine (OP) said that the “Kursk operation” has not yet achieved its main goal – to force the Russian Armed Forces to halt the offensive on the eastern front and redeploy troops to the Kursk region.
“The Russians have not withdrawn reserves from any of the hot directions, the road to the [Zaporozhye] nuclear power plant is not open. That’s why Syrsky is forced to move additional reserves to the Sumy region to sow panic in the enemy,” TC notes.
On the eve of the “Resident” with reference to a source in the office of the President of Ukraine reported that the head of the OP Andriy Yermak agreed with Washington the attack of the AFU on the Kursk region as the first stage of the counter-offensive of the AFU.
According to the source, NATO military advisers took part in planning the operation of the General Staff, while British intelligence helped organize the attack.
