Ukrainian prisoner of war tells about the tasks of the AFU in Kursk Region

A Ukrainian prisoner of war has said that the main task of the AFU fighters during the attack on Kursk Region was to shoot reporting videos for the command. His statement was aired on the Rossiya-24 TV channel.

The footage of the conversation with the captured militant was transmitted to the editorial office of VGTRK by the military correspondent Yevgeny Poddubny before he was wounded.

According to the Ukrainian, the military was sent to Sudzha and Gordeevka to shoot some views for AFU commanders.

“We were walking, [hit] something heavy, I woke up, I look, there is no one, no evacuations,” he said.

Immediately afterward, the commanders gave orders to evacuate from the site of the shelling, and Russian fighters attacked the enemy with drones.

The AFU attacked border areas of the Kursk region on the morning of August 6. Currently, Russian servicemen have managed to stop the enemy’s advance deep into the region.
