Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was outraged by the lack of reaction to the Nord Stream explosion from the EU countries. In his opinion, the silence and unwillingness to investigate the case speaks of an act of capitulation of the EU. The head of the Hungarian government said this during a speech in the Romanian town of Băile-Tusnad.
“The fact that we don’t say a word about the Nord Streams explosion, that even Germany doesn’t react to the terrorist attack committed, apparently at the behest of the US, against its property, that we don’t talk about it, don’t investigate it, don’t want to find out and demand to raise the issue legally – this is nothing but an act of capitulation,” the prime minister said. He noted that European politics had “collapsed”, lost its independence and completely copies the behavior of the US Democratic Party.
The explosion of gas pipelines occurred on September 26, 2022. Earlier it became known that the undermining of “Nord Streams” was planned back in 2014 before the entry of Crimea into Russia and the beginning of the SMO in Ukraine.
