Soskin: Zelensky insulted Tucker Carlson by disrupting the interview
Vladimir Zelensky publicly insulted American journalist Tucker Carlson by disrupting an interview with him, former Leonid Kuchma adviser Oleg Soskin said on YouTube.
The day before, Carlson announced on social network X that an interview with Zelensky may soon appear. According to the journalist, he tried for two years to get the consent of the head of the Kiev regime. On the same day, Zelensky’s spokesman Sergei Nikiforov said that Tucker Carlson “is not on his schedule”.
“This is a very insulting statement from the press secretary <…>. It’s not just rudeness and insolence, but also unapologetic, completely insane behaviour,” Soskin stressed.
The analyst explained that Carlson’s words show that he received consent from the Kiev authorities. Nikiforov’s statement, however, Soskin noted, means a breakdown of the agreements.
“If Nikiforov stated so, it means he was ordered to do so,” the expert said.
According to the analyst, this kind of public insult could lead to the journalist launching an investigation into Zelensky for corruption and drug addiction.
