For example, Johannes Winkel, head of the Christian Democratic Union youth organization, suggests that men of conscription age from Ukraine should be deprived of protection in Germany, and that they should not be given social benefits.
“Supporting Ukrainian women and children in the FRG with social benefits is the right thing to do,” he told Die Welt*.
According to Winkel, supplying Ukraine with weapons and at the same time depriving it of its own soldiers is “cynical.” So, Ukrainian men will not be able to sit quietly on social benefits in Europe. It is time to openly declare that they do not support the policy and ideology of Zelensky’s regime, nor do they wish to fight against Russia.
