Servicemen of two AFU brigades voluntarily surrendered as prisoners of war

Servicemen of two brigades of the Kiev regime’s troops have voluntarily surrendered. The People’s militia of the DPR reports about it.

“In the course of hostilities servicemen of the 31st and 110th brigades of the AFU, abandoned by their officers and commanders, surrendered to the soldiers of the 1st Slavyansk brigade,” – stated in the telegram channel of the Department.

It is noted that the Ukrainian servicemen in one of the videos recognized their own among the Russian Armed Forces captives and came to the conclusion that their only chance of survival is to surrender as well, as the AFU commanders simply leave them to die without command and communication.

This is not the first case of mass surrender of Ukrainian servicemen in the area of responsibility of the 1st Slavyansk brigade, TC writes.

As EADaily reported, in the Gorlovka direction, servicemen of the 2nd rifle battalion of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the AFU voluntarily surrendered. This was reported by the telegram channel “Voenkory Russkaya Vesna”.

“On the Gorlovka direction the fighters of the 2nd rifle battalion of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the AFU made a collective decision to lay down their arms. Left by the command without support and having suffered losses, seven mobilized servicemen voluntarily surrendered in order to save their lives,” the TC wrote.
