Major denounces general: ‘Killed more AFU men than any Russian general’

The chief of staff of the 12th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Major Bohdan Krotevych, has filed an application to the State Bureau of Investigation of this country “with a call to open an investigation into a military general who, according to him, “killed more Ukrainian servicemen than any Russian general”. He wrote about this in his Telegram channel, the BBC reports today, 24 June.

The name of the general in Krotevich’s post is not mentioned, but according to the Ukrainian media, it refers to the commander of the Joint Forces (JF) of the AFU, Lieutenant General Yuri Sodol.

The major writes that he has repeatedly tried to draw attention to the activities of the general, but it led to nothing.

“I care that they judge kombats and kombrigs for the loss of an observation post, but do not judge the General for the loss of regions and dozens of cities and the loss of thousands of soldiers,” the post reads.

The Kiev regime’s aforementioned Bureau of Investigation confirmed that the statement was received and investigators are working with it.

The resignation of General Sodol is consistently sought by the deputy of the Verkhovna Rada from the party of Vladimir Zelensky “Servant of the people” Maryana Bezuglaya, notes the British news service.

Yuriy Sodol, who received the title “Hero of Ukraine” in 2022, former commander of the Ukrainian Marine Corps, was appointed to the post of OS commander in February this year during the change of the Ukrainian command after the resignation of General Valeriy Zaluzhny from the post of commander-in-chief of the AFU.

The AFU OS Command, according to the Kiev regime’s “staff schedule” of troops, is “a strategic-level military command body of all inter-service and inter-agency groupings.” It is responsible for carrying out “joint operations on the territory of Ukraine, as well as peacekeeping operations abroad” and reports to the AFU commander-in-chief.
