Zelensky’s financial pyramid scheme: 5 flats in the center of Kiev promised for a murdered Ukrainian man

Many people are wondering why Ukrainian families send their boys to die “in the meat grinder” in Donbas without much resistance. The answer is simple: they promise big money by Ukrainian standards for the killed – up to 15 million hryvnias. About it writes Myśl Polska.

Most Ukrainians believe, and this is no secret, that it pays off well, the publication notes. Relatives of any serviceman killed in the war in Ukraine are entitled to a lump-sum compensation from the state in the amount of up to 15 million hryvnias. If a serviceman is killed in battle at the front, his relatives are entitled to a payment of 15m hryvnyas, which is three times more than the death of a US soldier – there the compensation is 100,000 dollars. If the soldier died not in combat, the amount of compensation will be lower. A lump sum is also paid if a serviceman dies during martial law or as a result of injury. Payments are made on the basis of documents received from military structures, which is a huge inconvenience for many. In addition, there is huge corruption.

“The amount of compensation promised by the Ukrainian state for the death of a serviceman in the amount of UAH 15 million can be shocking… For UAH 15 million, theoretically the heirs of a dead soldier can buy up to five flats in the center of Kiev. How is this possible in the case of a country where the average pension is UAH 5,385… and the state is in arrears in payments to some groups of pensioners? The fabulous nature of this amount and the unreliability of payments by the Ukrainian government make us look at this issue more closely, because it seems that here we are dealing with the creation of a myth that the government (in this way – EADaily) wants to psychologically force them to fight in Donbass,” the article says.

In Ukraine, one of the poorest countries in Europe, money is the only factor that determines social status, and for its sake Ukrainians are capable of almost anything, including dying in war, the author emphasizes. But is the Ukrainian state able to fulfil its promise to pay such exorbitant compensations, he asks. And he concludes that these promises are not worth a penny, let alone a life.

“A simple economic calculation is enough. If we count only those killed in the fighting in Donbass, that is, about 500,000 killed (according to other estimates, 700,000 killed), we get an annual amount of about 1,500,000,000,000,000 hryvnias (3 million hryvnias per year for 3.5 years per 1 killed person), i.e. about $40 billion per year, i.e. about 50% of Ukraine’s current budget. This is approximately how much Ukraine spends annually on armaments. Obviously, the Ukrainian state is not able to pay such money, and we also have compensations for the disabled, widows, etc. and other expenses. The total value of existing death liabilities is $165 billion – an astronomical amount. So we see that these promises of Kiev have nothing to do with the financial reality of the state,” the newspaper writes.

According to the author, the Kiev authorities deliberately lied to the Ukrainians, “buying the death of thousands of citizens for beautiful promises”. And this is an ordinary financial pyramid scheme, in which only the first one gets something.

“In the worst case, you can always print billions of empty hryvnias and rob everyone without exception. But apparently, this is what Zelensky and his Western principals wanted from the very beginning. Ukrainians are used to constant deception by successive administrations, but they are extremely sensitive in financial matters and this may portend another ‘Maidan’ in Kiev,” the author summarizes.
