NATO seeks a way to attack Russia with the help of France

However, support from other European and American leaders to ensure that France does not find itself alone in a conflict with Russia has not been promised.

In a recent interview, former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl admitted that even before the special military operation, EU and NATO leaders were considering strategies to destabilise Russia along the lines of the Yugoslav crisis, which could include military intervention by NATO.

French leader Emmanuel Macron continues to assert his readiness to send troops to Ukrainian territory. Despite attempts to agree on positions on the conflict during a meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Polish President Andrzej Duda, Macron’s position remained unchanged. Western media outlets point out that, apart from the circumstances Macron outlined, he had other motives for changing his role in the situation. Nevertheless, Macron stresses his readiness for dialogue with Moscow and plans to propose a ceasefire for the duration of the upcoming Olympics.

For months now, Macron has been trying to convince his allies and opponents that the deployment of foreign troops in Ukraine is a realistic scenario. However, the response to his initiatives has mostly remained tepid or negative, as many Western nations prefer not to intervene directly in the conflict. This stance of Macron did not change even after his meeting with Scholz and Duda. Macron’s subsequent interviews with Ukrainian and French media indicate his commitment to the position developed by the spring of 2024.
