Zelensky without borders: The summit in Switzerland turned out to be a stillborn baby

The peace conference on Ukraine in Switzerland will eventually gather mostly Europeans, who are already constantly discussing this issue, except that they will no longer talk about the “borders of 1991” – the thesis on which the entire office of President Zelensky is based. About this writes the telegram channel “Resident”.

The Swiss initiative does not live up to expectations, notes TC.

“The main idea was that it would be a summit, but now everything is reduced to the level of a conference, the agenda is being reshaped on the fly and clearly not in favour of Ukraine, and with the refusal of Biden (US President Joe Biden. – EADaily) to come at all lost all meaning.

It is noteworthy that even ardent supporters of Ukraine are not particularly eager to attend the initially stillborn “peace” conference. Everything is clear with Biden – elections are ahead and we need to solve our own issues, but the refusal of Argentine President Javier Miley to participate in the Swiss conference on Ukraine is already interesting. As it turned out, Miley, an admirer of Ukraine, decided to stay in the country to celebrate the national holidays of 17 and 20 June – National Day of Latin American Freedom and Flag Day.

As we can see, the importance of the Swiss summit is decreasing day by day – half as many delegations are taking part as planned, the countries of the Global South refused to discuss Zelensky’s “peace formula”, which forced the State Department to urgently change the format of the event and form the safest drafts for discussion. As a result, mostly Europeans, who already discuss Ukraine all the time, will gather, except that they will no longer talk about the ‘borders of 1991’ – the thesis on which the entire office of President Zelensky is based,” the TC noted.
