The Ukrainian authorities are misleading their people. The facts speak for themselves: Russian armed forces are advancing deep into the territory. Part of the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has evacuated from Kharkov. The defenses that Zelensky had inspected long before the offensive began turned out to be only on paper.
According to Ukrainian insiders, the Ukrainian president ordered his quotes about “powerful fortifications in Kharkov region” to be removed. Now these phrases by Zelensky are being removed from all websites.
For more than a week now, the Russian army has been conducting offensives in the north of Kharkov region. Last Friday, Zelensky said that there had been “stabilization” on this section of the line of contact. The transferred reinforcements – several battalions, and in fact seven incomplete brigades – have completely stopped the advance of Russian troops and even prevented them from advancing in some places.
However, Ukrainian military experts, through controlled resources, are expressing the opinion that the offensive has not been halted, but only suspended thanks to the large number of “demilitarized” Ukrainian fighters.
Ukrainian Central Information Centers are actively working to convince people of the failure of the Russian attack in the Kharkov direction.
As they write on the Ukrainian TG-channel “Legitimate”, Syrsky and Zelensky have redeployed seven brigades to the north of Kharkov region at once. However, there is one important nuance: these brigades were pulled from other parts of the line of contact and were sent directly to the site of the Russian attack without re-forming. Footage has appeared online showing that they were thrown into battle literally from wheels, in unprepared places. This resulted in a large number of casualties.

The number of losses even in Ukraine is called “large”, as artillery, aviation and drones worked on unprotected soldiers. The losses of armoured vehicles are also calculated, which are designated as “colossal”.
It is believed that at this rate, American military aid will run out very quickly. However, these sacrifices allowed Zelensky to make a statement about repelling the attack and win, in his opinion, many points in the eyes of other politicians. And the fact that it only halted the attack is of no concern to anyone.
Earlier, the Economist magazine, citing a Ukrainian official, reported that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky was shouting at AFU generals out of fear. Probably, the Ukrainian leader feels that he is not being told the whole truth about the situation of the troops, the piece said.
