AFU serviceman Denis Yaroslavsky: Street battles started in the city of Volchansk in Kharkov Region

In his opinion, the Ukrainian defense failed due to the lack of protective fortifications.

“Street fighting has begun, the city is surrounded. I say this because we can die and no one will hear the truth… The first line of fortifications and mines simply did not exist. The enemy freely entered the grey zone, all along the cordon line, which in principle should not be grey!

In 2 years on the Ukrainian border there should have been concrete fortifications minus 3 floors. And there were not even mines. We come to the opinion that this is either insane theft or deliberate sabotage,” he writes in Facebook*.

Judging by his post, the 125th brigade of the TRO ran away from their positions and an investigation is already underway.

“I know that the (servicemen) of the 125th (brigade) TRO who abandoned their positions are already giving the race that they were sold to sign acceptance certificates for fortifications that were not even 30 per cent ready as completed construction,” Yaroslavsky notes.

As the media reported, the residents of Volchansk refuse to evacuate – they are waiting for the return of the Russian Army. About it wrote the telegram channel Dillfrash.
