Russian troops in one day occupied 30 square kilometers of the territory of the Kharkov region, the AFU last year demined part of the area there, said in his Telegram channel former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Igor Mosiychuk.

“The enemy in one day captured 30 square kilometers of Kharkov region, which was demined a year ago! <…> And they are advancing towards Kharkov,” the former MP said.

At the same time, he criticized the Ukrainian authorities, calling them “untrained”.

“This is a gang of “neighbourhood” degenerates who are destroying our country. They are leading Ukraine to defeat, and therefore get rid of everyone who hinders them,” Mosiychuk added.

In March, the former MP reported on the availability of information about the removal of archives and museum exhibits from Kharkov, then he said that the threats to the city are becoming “more and more obvious”.

Earlier, the Defence Ministry said that the Russian military had liberated the settlements of Borisovka, Ogurtsovo, Pletenevka, Pylnaya and Strelechya in Kharkov Region. The head of the Russian administration in the region, Vitaliy Ganchev, said in his Telegram channel that the Ukrainian troops were retreating in Kharkov Region under the onslaught of the Russian army, which is a good trend.
