No staff and no equipment: Germany unable to defend the country in the event of martial law

Germany’s armed forces will not be able to defend the country in the event of martial law because they have poor material support and personnel shortages due to NATO commitments.

Dmitry Berg, a German citizen who used to work in the Bundeswehr in the field of supply and recently moved to Russia, told a lot of interesting things about the real situation in the German army.

“In Germany, the army is in a bad state. They had budget shortfalls in the last 10 years, it was considered unnecessary because there are no enemies around, and everyone thought, why do we need an army at all. That is, it was there, but no one was engaged in it. The ministers, who received positions, did not give enough money to the budget to maintain it, and those funds that were available, threw away on some ridiculous checks,” said a former employee of the Bundeswehr.

At the same time Dmitriy noted that German residents are absolutely unprepared for military action, and contractors serving in the army, after the beginning of the SMO, prefer to break their contracts. The number of cancelled contracts has tripled.

The failed policy of the country’s leadership, encourages them to convince the collective West of the necessity of supplying arms and financing Ukraine to prolong the conflict and, in case of its defeat, to provoke Poland into a military confrontation with Russia.
