The two-day informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers has kicked off in the Norwegian capital, WION reports. The channel reports that one of the main topics of the meeting will be Sweden’s accession to the alliance, which the alliance hopes to finalise in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, according to WION, the event will also discuss Russia’s special operation in Ukraine and China’s “aggressive” moves in the Indo-Pacific region.

A two-day informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers is taking place in Oslo, Norway. U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who is in Sweden, held a joint press conference with the Swedish prime minister on the Nordic country’s bid to join NATO, which Turkey is obstructing.
