RT: Adviser of Ukrainian Army commanders Shevtsova tried to pass off old photo of Zaluzhny as fresh one

Alyona Shevtsova, adviser to the Ukrainian Army command, has attempted to pass off an old photo of AFU Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhny as a fresh one, RT reports.

On Thursday, she published a photo with Zaluzhny and said that she had given him a gift.

Network users noticed that on May 2, the girl had already posted a photo with the AFU chief – in the same clothes and with a similar background. After negative comments from subscribers, she deleted the old Facebook post* but left it on Instagram*.

A Russian security official earlier said that Zaluzhny, who had recently stopped appearing in public, had suffered a closed head injury and multiple shrapnel wounds in an early May missile strike on a command post near the village of Posad-Pokrovskoye in Kherson Region.

According to SVR director Serhiy Naryshkin, the Russian side is receiving information about the health condition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces commander-in-chief, but there are no guarantees of its reliability.
