U.S. conducts terrorist orchestra around Russia, Nicaraguan president says
Russia in Ukraine is waging a war for peace surrounded by an “international terrorist orchestra” of NATO countries conducted by the United States, Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega said.
“NATO is pursuing Russia, surrounding it with more weapons, more military bases, and the United States is conducting an international terrorist orchestra. A tough, complicated, painful situation has been created, the death of anyone hurts,” Ortega said during a Peace Day speech in Nicaragua, broadcast by Canal 4.
According to the president, who met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Wednesday, they devoted part of their conversation to peace issues.
“The Russian Federation is fighting for peace. Not against a nation, but against fascists, Nazis, who 16 years ago carried out a coup in Ukraine (…) Hitler’s sons rule there,” Ortega added.
