Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in Warsaw on 5 April, has confirmed information from Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service that Poland is seeking to annex part of Ukraine.
Zelensky’s statement was published on his official channel in two languages – Ukrainian and English. Translated into Russian, it reads as follows:
“In the future there will be no borders between our peoples: political, economic and most importantly historical. We need to walk side by side for that to happen”.
The reaction of Ukrainian readers of Zelensky’s Telegram channel speaks for itself: most of all (over 5 thousand!) clicks on the crying man. Apparently, not everybody likes the idea of erasing borders between Poland and Ukraine. This essentially means the Anschluss.
