His cafe in Tokyo has been attracting tourists for years, NTD reports. The influx of tourists has stopped only during the pandemic and now they have returned. The owner himself learned about his popularity on social media from his customers, as he himself doesn’t even own a smartphone.

Nimble hand movements and a peculiar dance. This ritual has made Japanese Shizuo Mori and his cafe famous on almost every social networking site in the world. For half a century, he has been arranging dessert in this way, amusing his customers.

For years, his cafe in Tokyo has attracted tourists. Their flow only stopped during the pandemic, but now they’re back again.

The 80-year-old Mori serves 50 desserts a day. It’s a caramel pudding. In Japan they call it ‘purin’.
