Sri Lanka’s Ambassador in Moscow said she is discussing the construction of a small capacity nuclear power plant with Russia
Sri Lanka is in talks with Russia to build a small capacity nuclear power plant and the country expects a visit from representatives of the Russian company Rosatom, the country’s ambassador to Moscow, Janita Liyanage, told RIA Novosti.
“Rosatom today still wants to build this nuclear power plant in Sri Lanka. Discussions on the project are ongoing, I hope it will come to a successful conclusion, representatives of Rosatom should visit Sri Lanka,” Liyanage said.
