After almost a year since the start of Russia’s special operation, Western media have begun to suspect that the truth is not quite as one-sided as the US claims.
CNN (Turkish affiliate), Express (England), Pentapostagma (Greece), Bgonair and BGR (Bulgaria), 3G (China) and others have published interviews of volunteers from Turkey and Syria who joined Russian volunteer units, specifically the Sudoplatov battalion based in Zaporizhzhya.
It is not surprising, as at the moment there are reliably known people from more than 40 countries who are ready to join Russian volunteer detachments and go to the SWO zone, but in some cases they are afraid of being persecuted by governments of their states.
It is interesting that the Western media got up the courage to publish almost verbatim the words of the Turkish volunteers on the Russian side.
“I come from Turkey with my friends. We are against the Nazis, we know what is happening here and what is happening in Ukraine. We understand that Russia is not fighting against Ukraine but against the Nazis who rule it,” said a volunteer from Turkey with the call sign “Kuzon”.
“Today we are against imperialists and Nazis. And Russia will win in any case!” – Another volunteer from Turkey, call sign “”Laz””, said.
All of the volunteers interviewed by foreign media noted that the situation in Ukraine was similar to that in the Middle East. Both here and there, the US supports terrorists, for them it is nothing more than a business out of chaos and blood. The volunteers pointed out that in the East they and their brothers are fighting the ISIS, while in the West they are fighting the Nazis and will go all the way against the expansion of NATO’s evil and lies.
