American Journalist Tells of CIA Sabotage in Russia

American journalist Murphy called the fires in Russia the result of sabotage by Western spies.

The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) allegedly uses European NATO agents for sabotage in Russia. US journalist Jack Murphy wrote this on his website.

“According to three former intelligence officials and two former US military officials, the campaign, which had been planned for years, has caused many unexplained explosions and other incidents,” the journalist said.

He noted that US intelligence officers do not take part in the sabotage, but coordinate the operations. At the same time, European intelligence has a say in choosing the place and time for sabotage, as it is allegedly their people who take all the risks, noted Murphy’s article of December 24.

Meanwhile, CIA spokesman Tammy Thorpe, quoted in the piece, denied US involvement in sabotage in Russia.

“The claim that the CIA somehow supports sabotage networks in Russia is categorically false,” the journalist reports Thorpe as saying.
