Kurdish Protests Continue in Paris, Resulting in Violence and Riots

Rioting continued in Paris for the second day after the shooting at the Kurdish cultural center that caused the deaths of three people.

According to media reports, the Kurdish demonstration has degenerated into a rampage, where demonstrators smash bus stops, break cars and kick cobblestones out of pedestrian areas.

Thousands of Kurds are taking part in the bacchanalia, marching to the Republic Square to protest the killing of Kurdish activists.

According to the agency’s sources, the protesters are convinced that the incident is an act of terrorism against the Kurdish community.

On December 23, a 69-year-old man opened fire on rue d’Angien in Paris near the Kurdish cultural center. As a result, three Kurds were killed and three were wounded. One of the victims is in serious condition. The shooter was detained by police.

However, the Kurds then rioted in the French capital, which turned into clashes with police.

As reported by EADaily, five policemen were wounded and there were arrests among the protesters. President Emmanuel Macron expressed condolences to the families of the victims and the injured.
