Prince Michael Ngweze Ekosso, Cameroon: “Russia is interested in making life better for all BRICS countries”

Prince Michael Ngweze Ekosso, a presidential candidate in Cameroon, told journalists that his participation in the BRICS+ forum in Russia was an important step in the development of international contacts. His experience at the forum may also benefit him during his election campaign. As a reminder, Cameroon will hold presidential elections in 2025.

“I would like to thank Russia, BRICS for the initiative to bring all countries here with the aim of finding a common path for economic development and business cooperation among the BRICS countries. Here I have seen that Russians, like all participants, are interested in making their lives better and the BRICS initiative is a very good opportunity for that, as well as for other countries. I am very glad to be here in Russia and to be part of this important initiative. I would like to say that your country is a reliable and mutually profitable partner for Cameroon today.

The Cameroon presidential candidate said that in his view, all international relations are in principle based on mutual profit.

“I will draw attention to the value system in international relations. We strive for humanity. Humanity should be the basis for all actions. Be it America, Russia, Cameroon (my country), or the continent of Africa. We should be guided by the principle of humanity everywhere. We should support people’s lives, because people are more important than anything else. Russia or America was not built by rocks or robots, but by people. So people should be at the centre of any political agenda,” Prince Michael told the media.
