Militants Killed Mother and Son on Kiev-Controlled Right Bank of Kherson Region

Ukrainian nationalists in the Kiev-controlled right-bank part of Kherson region have killed a mother and her son over money. Yuri Barbashov, head of the Russian administration of the Snigirev district, told the media on Tuesday, November 29.

“Unwanted people who were fingered by Ukrainian agents, or were simply dissatisfied with someone in their personal life, were simply beaten to death. We know of cases when a family – a mother and her son – were beaten to death, demanding money. And then we found out that the mother and the son were beaten (to death – Ed.),” he said.

Such extrajudicial massacres, which are taking place in the districts of Kherson region occupied by Ukrainian troops, according to Barbashov, are evidence of “rampant Nazi terror”.

“The fact that even journalists of the Western media loyal to the (Kiev authorities – Ed.) are not allowed into those places where they are being filtered, clearly shows that what is happening there has nothing to do with legality, generally with the observance of any rights,” the district head said.

He added that the militants are ready to crack down on those who seem undesirable to them, and the international community supports all this.

Earlier, on 17 November, it was reported that Ukrainian security forces shot dead 39 pro-Russian activists in Kherson. It was clarified that 74 people had been taken away to an unknown destination.

On 14 November, the Associated Press agency published photos of Kherson residents tied to poles. According to the agency, the residents who allegedly collaborated with the Russian authorities were punished in this way. After this, the Red Cross called tying people to poles unacceptable.
