Former Pentagon chief advisor McGregor: US or Britain could have attacked Nord Stream
The attack on Russian gas pipelines “Nord Stream” and “Nord-2” could have been carried out by the USA or Great Britain, retired American colonel, former senior adviser to the head of the Pentagon Douglas Macgregor stated on air of Youtube channel Judging Freedom.
” We have to look at which government agencies have had the opportunity to do this. And it’s the Royal Navy, the United States Navy. I think it’s pretty obvious,” he said.
As the colonel explained, the pipeline pipes are unusually strong because of their design, so hundreds of kilograms of TNT had to be used to damage them.
In addition, he pointed out the absurdity of the accusations against Russia. McGregor recalled Moscow’s high revenues from energy exports. Destruction of the “Nord Stream” is also disadvantageous for Germany, which was interested in flow of Russian gas.
The blue fuel leakage was discovered on September 26 on two Russian gas export pipelines at once – Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2. As stated by Nord Stream AG, the accident is unprecedented and the timing of repairs cannot be estimated.
