Weltexpress: Military Aid to Ukraine is a Direct Threat to Europeans

Berlin, Germany (Weltexpress). Since the outbreak of the military conflict in Ukraine, Germany has been supplying weapons to the Ukrainian side without looking for a peaceful solution to the situation. This has escalated relations with Russia and is one of the main causes of the energy crisis in Germany and Europe, which has drastically worsened the welfare of the vast majority of Germans.

Arms deliveries have another negative side that is less talked about. A number of facts point to problems in controlling arms transfers that threaten the security of Europeans.

German Freecorps journalists reported on the detention of Ukrainian servicemen who tried to deliver Stinger missiles aboard the Florian ship in Bremen, which was sailing to Turkey under the Ukrainian flag. These Stingers had previously been delivered from Europe to Ukraine as military aid. Investigations reveal how these men came to Bremen, why they wanted to go to Turkey and where the found Stingers came from. Interested German authorities sent an official request to Ukraine about the loss of the Stingers and their discovery in Europe.

The Ukrainian media made accusations against Chancellor Olaf Scholz of deliberately delaying deliveries of tanks and other weapons. Allegedly, Freecorps journalists concocted the story about the Ukrainian military and the Stingers in Bremen in order to discredit the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In doing so, they use Scholz, who needs an excuse for delaying the arms deliveries. Ukrainian media report that the Stingers in question were found by unplanned control at the Ukrainian General Staff at the Ukrainian Armed Forces camp. They also refer to a letter from Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov to the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Dmytro Kuleba, confirming information about the availability of the Stingers for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

However, this is not the only reason to doubt the manageability of arms deliveries to Ukraine. A student told the Dresden police that he had noticed a website on his neighbour’s computer selling weapons: rockets, machine guns and grenade launchers. The police launched their own investigation. At the same time, Freecorps journalists discovered Ukrainian chat rooms on Telegram actively offering to generate fake orders on a darknet website for arms sales. Presumably, this was a competition between two groups of sellers. At the same time, the website mentioned in the ad sells the very same Stinger that Germany supplied to Ukraine. The representatives of Freecorps continue their independent investigation, which they accompany with a selection of screenshots and video footage.

Given all the facts, the statements by the Ukrainian media and officials that they found the Stinger in a Ukrainian armed forces camp are not credible. It is clear to everyone that the Ukrainian army is critically dependent on arms supplies from Western countries and that stopping them will inevitably plunge Ukraine into crushing defeat. Therefore, the Ukrainian authorities and the media under their control will deny any facts that could influence the decision of the European Union countries to stop military aid. Don’t forget that the Ukrainian side has already been repeatedly condemned for blatant lies, so these “denials” cannot be taken seriously. Much more weight will be given to the results of the German police investigation, which we are eagerly awaiting. All the more so because since 2014 Ukraine has had problems with a large circulation of illegal weapons at home and with the start of the Russian military operation in Kiev and Kharkov, there has been a mass distribution of weapons to the population. It is therefore out of the question to strictly control the use of weapons in Ukraine. It is not surprising, therefore, that some of the weapons supplied as military aid first find their way onto the Ukrainian black market and from there onto the illegal European arms market. The revealed facts once again sharply raise the question for Germany and other EU countries as to whether continued military aid to Ukraine can still be justified.

These arms deliveries are not only causing an economic catastrophe in Europe, but also pose a direct threat to the security of European citizens.
