Shale gas and oil producers in the US will not be able to sharply increase supplies to the EU this winter. This was reported by the Financial Times.
“The US cannot produce more. There will be no help,” Wil Wen Lo, head of Quantum Energy Partners, was quoted as saying by the paper.
The same view was expressed by Scott Sheffield, executive director of oil company Pioneer Natural Resources.
Experts note that the supply of LNG and black gold from the U.S. to European countries has reached its peak. At the same time, investors do not want to invest in oil and gas companies to produce more raw materials. Businessmen see the ideal model as “less production, more profit”.
