“Putin didn’t Ask You, German,” Russians about Scholz’s Conditions

Russian citizens called German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s statement on the conditions of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Germany amusing. Russians are confident that Western politicians will soon ask to visit the Russian leader themselves.

Earlier, German Chancellor Scholz said that he had not yet thought about President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Germany, but noted that its main conditions were the end of the military special operation in Ukraine and a peace agreement between Moscow and Kiev, which should not have the character of “forced peace”. According to the German politician, Russia must admit that it needs to come to an agreement with Ukraine by accepting Kiev’s terms.

“Scholz would not croak on his own backbone. After all, a peace treaty and capitulation can also be signed in Berlin…After the denazification of the Ukraine and its accomplices,” wrote a reader of the RIA Novosti news agency.

And why should the Russian President visit Germany, whose authorities, by supplying arms to Ukraine, have made themselves accomplices in the killing of civilians in Donbas together with the Kiev regime? Did the German authorities not think about that when deciding to participate in the military support of the criminal Kiev regime?” – Ivan Girin wondered.

“Hee hee. Is the liverwurst sausage still trying to impose conditions?” asked Vlad Sh.

“The Russians can go to Europe without your invitation,” joked Sergei Stary.

“Sausage has an interesting logic. He wants a peace treaty, but keeps pumping weapons into Ukraine,” remarked user Za Pravda.

“Calm down, citizen Scholz. Keep your thoughts and statements to yourself, no one is interested. You all should not have supplied weapons, but to explain to citizen Zelensky (President of Ukraine – EADaily comment), that negotiations and the ability to solve a number of issues without shooting, this is diplomacy,” – pointed out Olga Zakharova.

“Our president may visit Berlin for the Victory Parade,” reader Alf 777 suggested.

“Scholz, are you going to put conditions on Russia? Think back to 1945. Conditions may not be turned in your favour,” wrote SVV.

“I don’t know what year you will see Putin, but May 9 would be good,” Arthur Sch added.

“I don’t think Putin has any desire to visit a country that is pumping Ukraine with weapons and imposing sanctions against Russia. And if we are talking about a peace treaty, Scholz should understand that a peace treaty is only possible on Russian terms. The times of compromise are over,” Diana Z pointed out.

“Putin didn’t ask you, a German, about it. He’s not your Zelensky,” the Sas73 commentator pointed out.
