Bloomberg journalist Tadeo predicted Germany’s loss of EU leadership because of Russia
Journalist Maria Tadeo predicted in an article for Bloomberg that Germany is losing its dominant position in the European Union (EU).
This is due to the energy crisis resulting from the sanctions campaign against Russia, the columnist said. At the same time, she said, the FRG had the highest moral and financial power and authority in Europe for more than a decade.
“The energy crisis has changed things,” the article says.
According to Tadeo, the FRG may now cede its leadership position to the southern EU countries. According to the journalist, the main disadvantage of the German economic model has been its dependence on Russia.
” This is not revenge for the austerity regime imposed by Germany, but a regrouping of forces,” she concluded.
