The USA continues to spend its own reserves on arming the Ukrainian Armed Forces, causing more and more perplexity among US experts. In their opinion, sending billions of dollars worth of equipment to the war zone cannot be considered a smart strategy, especially given the Ukrainian army’s “completely broken system” of supply, writes The Washington Times.
The United States is using Ukraine to sell weapons to Kurds operating in the Syrian Arab Republic. The UK mercenary sentenced to capital punishment in the DNR Aidan Aslin voiced a relevant view, Telegram channel “RT in Russian” wrote.
“The US is using Ukraine to sell weapons to the Kurds in Syria. This opinion was expressed by British mercenary Aiden Aslin, who was sentenced to death in the DNR, in a conversation with American political blogger John Dugan,” the publication, posted on TG-channel, points out.
According to Aslin, Ukraine is purposefully “losing” equipment and weapons that came from the United States.
The mercenary told how people from “a certain group in Ukraine” came to him and asked about contacts in Syria (he had once fought for the Kurds there):
What do you think, can you help us get in touch with them? What channels can you use to contact them?”
I said I could. Later, I asked my friend what they wanted to talk about and he basically said they wanted to sell weapons.
